Wow, you are dead on! Jon aizen, brad tofel, and I are working on a distrubuted caching system that is specifically designed to leverage well connected computers that serve particular user bases (like I2, specific universities, specific isp's etc).

we would love a test site. Jon goes back to school on Jan 20th, so we hope to have something wobbling by then, but it will really be this summer most likely to get it deployed.

this will compliment the efforts of onionnetworks, bittorrent, and dsi.

Onward to large-file friendly Internet!
